A court has issued a warrant of arrest against former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo for failing to pay Sh25 million owed to Nairobi businessman Bryan Yongo. “It is time the court stamped its authority. Previously, Mr Jirongo has been summoned to appear before court to give reasons why he had issued bad cheques to the decree holder but he failed to do so,” the deputy registrar said.Ms Tanui issued the warrant of arrest so that Mr Jirongo is brought to court to explain why he should not be committed to civil jail.
