Sylvia Njoroge


Head of Shared Services, HR & Administration

Sylvia is the Head of Shared Services, HR & Administration She is tasked to provide strategic and professional leadership, champion service delivery excellence, map and review our current business and people operations in order to ensure there is continuous improvement of processes whilst mitigating risk and ensuring business continuity and success.

Sylvia is a certificated HR practitioner and full member of the IHRM professional Body. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from USIU- Africa and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration – Strategic Management, at The University of Nairobi.

Maurice Oduor

Senior Manager Asset Management

Maurice is a Senior Manager in the Genghis Asset Management business. His role involves the formulation of asset management products, development of business strategy and management of business development and distribution.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Finance) from Maseno University, and is a CFA Level III candidate. Maurice is a member of the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA), Kenya.

Kenneth Minjire

Head of Securities

Kenneth is the Head of Securities, encompassing Wealth Management and Agency. He is in charge of the day to day institutional and retail trading for exchange traded and OTC securities, client acquisition and maintenance, and coordinating NSE trading activities for the company. He also ensures that the fixed income and equities trading targets are met through continuous monitoring of the team’s performance.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Business Computing from Sunderland University and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He also sits on the board of the Bond Market Association.

Fiona Malonza

Head of Legal & Compliance

Fiona is currently the Head of Legal and Compliance of Genghis Capital. She provides strategic legal counsel to the company and brings to the table seasoned knowledge of corporate law honed from diverse roles in the Legal, Investment and Financial services sectors.

Fiona is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Kenya Bar and Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM). She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Laws- Kenya School of Law, Bachelor of Laws – University of Nairobi, Masters in Business Administration – Strategic Management, Kenyatta University, a post graduate diploma in Human Resources – Cambridge International College, CISI level II graduate and ACCA Part 2 qualification. She is currently pursuing her qualifications as a certified secretary  and certified HR practitioner.

Stephen Juma

Head of Finance

Stephen is the Head of Finance. His main roles are to perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy. With a team of financial professionals, the department provides timely financial reports for all stakeholders and manages the financial resources of the organization.

Stephen holds a CPAK and is currently pursuing Law at Catholic University of Eastern Africa. His professional trainings include International Financial Reporting Standards, Tax, Fraud and Investigations, Risk Management, Corporate Governance and Leadership. He is a member of ICPAK.

Tem Evans Minishi

Head of Operations

Mr. Minishi has the overall responsibility for ensuring the efficient flow of both the back and front office brokerage processes of the firm. Prior to his current position, Tem Evans gained valuable experience working in the operations department for over 6 years and has had customer service experience while working at a business processing outsourcing center. In addition to brokerage, Tem Evans also supervises Unit Trust Administration Processes.
Mr. Minishi is a holder of a Bachelors degree in Science from Egerton University and has undergone various industry trainings and workshops involving ISO 9001:2008 certifications, IPOs and Right issues and is a certified ATS dealer.

Jeremiah Chunge

Head of Alternative Channels and Technology

Jeremiah is the Head of Alternative Channels. His roles and duties includes the management of the internal ICT operations. Technology and innovation being a guiding force in the organization, Jeremiah led his team in a project that made Genghis Capital the first investment bank in Kenya that is 100% cloud-based. He is also in charge of business development through creation of channels for revenue generation.

Jeremiah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science (IT Major) from Moi University, and a Masters in Predictive Analytics (Business Analytics) from Northwestern University. He has training in ISO 9000 management and is a member of CIO East Africa.
