Tem Evans Minishi
Head of Operations and Customer Service
Mr. Minishi has the overall responsibility for ensuring the efficient flow of both the back and front office brokerage processes of the firm. Prior to his current position, Tem Evans gained valuable experience working in the operations department for over 6 years and has had customer service experience while working at a business processing outsourcing center. In addition to brokerage, Tem Evans also supervises Unit Trust Administration Processes.
Mr. Minishi is a holder of a Bachelors degree in Science from Egerton University and has undergone various industry trainings and workshops involving ISO 9001:2008 certifications, IPOs and Right issues and is a certified ATS dealer.
Head of Finance
Juma is the Head of Finance at Genghis Capital. He has over 14 years’ of experience in the financial industry (banking and insurance) having worked in finance, internal Audit and risk where he gained experience on internal controls, processes, products and operations,risk reviews, system migration, fraud documentation and investigation . Juma has previously worked at Prime Bank in the finance department and later in Internal Audit, Sobhag Insurance brokers . He has also supported in financial due delligence on acquisition advisory.
Juma has over the years attended various trainings on Financial reporting, tax, fraud and investigation, Risk Management.
He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK) and is currently pursuing a degree in Law at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).
Head of Alternative Channels and Technology
Jeremiah heads the Alternative Channels and Technology desk at Genghis Capital Ltd, where he is tasked with the responsibility to innovate investment products and solutions using technology and partnerships for the mass market. He is an Information Technology professional with over 14 years’ experience in management and setting up of server systems, physical and virtual networks, Enterprise-wide Resource Planning (ERP) software, social media and ICT consultancy.
Jeremiah holds a Bachelors in Information Sciences (IT Major) degree from Moi University, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Predictive Analytics (Business Analytics) at Northwestern University. He is also trained in ISO 9001, and has worked for various companies in diverse sectors including NGO, Audit, Automotive and ICT.
Head of Securities Trading
Kenneth is the head of the fixed income desk at Genghis Capital handling all fixed income transactions for both retail and institutional clients having held the position since 2014. He started his career at Dyer and Blair investment bank as a research analyst and as a fixed income trader for 2 years; this was later followed by 3 years as the dealer in Stanlib Kenya hence building his experience in brokerage.
He holds a BSc in Applied Business Computing examined by Sunderland University through Intel College, Kenneth is also a certified ATS and Avvento dealer by the Nairobi Securities Exchange.
Head of Legal
Fiona is currently the Head of Legal of Genghis Capital. She provides strategic legal counsel to the company and brings to the table seasoned knowledge of corporate law honed from diverse roles in the Legal, Investment and Financial services sectors.
Fiona is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Kenya Bar and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Laws for the Kenya School of Law, Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi, Kenya and ACCA Part 2 qualification.
She is currently finalizing on her Master’s in Business Administration – Strategic Management, Kenyatta University while pursuing a post graduate diploma in Human resources from the Cambridge International College.
Head of Shared Services, HR & Administration
A Business & People Operations enthusiast with 7+ experience in HR Management, Operations, Administration and Organizational Development driven Strategies.
She is tasked to provide strategic & professional leadership, champion service delivery excellence, map and review our current business and people operations in order to ensure there is continuous improvement of processes whilst mitigating risk and ensuring business continuity and success.
The current role includes oversight on HR, Administration, Procurement, Operations & Client Relations. Her experience cuts across similar roles in Education and Financial services sectors.
Sylvia is a certificated HR practitioner and full member of the IHRM professional Body. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from USIU- Africa and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration – Strategic Management, at The University of Nairobi.
